Leg Irons – Police and Prisoner Restraints

These leg irons are designed to securely restrain a suspect by fastening around the ankles, helping to limit movement during escort or transport situations. The short connecting chain between the cuffs restricts stride length while still allowing controlled movement when being escorted. 

Leg irons are commonly associated with prisoner transport, custody procedures and secure escort situations, making them particularly useful for film, television and theatre productions depicting detention or prisoner handling scenes. 

We supply these leg irons in both standard locking and quick reset versions to suit different production requirements. The standard locking version operates in the same manner as conventional restraints and is supplied with keys, while the quick reset version allows faster release and reapplication between takes.
